What services does the LEVERAGE Accelerator provide to public bodies?
The LEVERAGE Accelerator works directly with Public Bodies, to support them to:
- Identify a portfolio of investments which upon implementation would meet their decarbonisation targets, including Article 5 and 6 of the EED.
- Determine which projects could be eligible donor funding, which projects ought to be funded directly out of public body’s budget, and projects are desirable for Private Financial partners.
- Provide transparent criteria relevant for different financing options which have to be considered in the set up and project design
- Develop to develop proposals that are compatible with the needs of private financial partners.
- Access donor funding.
- Find investment opportunities from private financing partners.
- Consider regulations for public bodies for financing, e.g. procurement regulation if existing.
